Thermomelt® 650°F — Applications & Standards
Verify PWHT (Post Weld Heat Treatment) temperature — heat treatment after welding to relieve residual stress and improve microstructure.
No power source and no periodic calibration required. When the crayon melts on the metal surface, the temperature has reached 650°F (343°C) — a clear visual result that can be photographed for on-site QA/QC records. 33% larger than Tempilstik® — saving replacement time, especially effective during long welding shifts at refineries, shipyards and offshore.
